Earl D. Fulk, 81

Earl D. Fulk, age 81, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 5:55 A.M. on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at the Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice Center near Defiance. Mr. Fulk was employed as a truck driver for Central Transport for 40 years. He was a US Navy veteran serving during the Korean War. Earl was a member of Grace Community Church, Bryan American Legion Post #284, VFW Post #2489 and Eagles Aerie #2233.

Earl D. Fulk was born on May 28, 1936, in Payne, Ohio, the son of Floyd and Violet Mae (Whitman) Fulk. He married Ruby D. (May) Lorentz on February 2, 1995, in Las Vegas, Nevada and she survives.

Earl is also survived by his step children, Betty (Paul) Siler, of Defiance, Randall Lorentz, of Madison, Wisconsin, Candace (Tony) Meyer, of Perrysburg, Ohio; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Cramer, Diane Foor , William Fulk and Betty Clark, all of Paulding, Tom Fulk, of Defiance, Nancy Bernath, of Bradenton, Florida; sister-in-law, Pearl Fulk, of Antwerp; several nephews and nieces and his beloved dog, Buddy. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jim and John Fulk and an infant sister.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017, from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. at Grace Community Church where funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Sam Byroads officiating. Burial will follow at Shiffler Cemetery, near Bryan with graveside military rites provided by the Bryan VFW and US Navy Honor Guard.

Memorials are requested to Grace Community Church, Community Health Professionals Hospice or the Veteran’s Administration.
