Edgerton Budget Adopted

Edger­ton Coun­cil met Tues­day and adopted an appro­pri­a­tions bud­get for this year, which includes vil­lage expen­di­tures of $5,878,717.

The largest appro­pri­a­tions were $892,129 to the gen­eral fund; $226,515 for street main­te­nance; $293,150 for fire expenses; $325,655 to the water fund; and $2,873,246 to the elec­tric fund.

The Bryan Times reports that the fig­ures take into con­sid­er­a­tion cuts made in 2013.
