Effie W. Elliott, age 96, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 2:17 P.M. on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Park View Nursing Center in Edgerton where she was a resident. Mrs. Elliott was a homemaker and a carrier of the Journal Gazette Newspaper for ten years. She was also a former member of Bryan Eagles Aerie #2233.
Effiott W. Elliott was born on May 15, 1921, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the daughter of Jesse and Mae (Currier) Becker . She married George Elliott in 1942 in Coldwater, Michigan and he in death in December of 1968.
Survivors include two sons, Gordon Elliott and James Elliott, both of Brunson, Michigan; five daughters, Lourren Miller, of Montpelier, Ohio, Mickie Green, of Edgerton, Ohio, Georgia and Rolene in Michigan and Ginger Elliott, in California; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Teri Lynn Elliott; and a granddaughter, Tasha Marie Elliott.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 1:00-3:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 114 East Hull Street, Edgerton. Service will follow at 3:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, with Pastor Byron Adams officiating. Interment will take place at a later date at East Gilead Cemetery near Brunson, Michigan.
