Emergency Calls Affected

A tele­phone line in the area has been cut and it is affect­ing emer­gency calls in some parts of our lis­ten­ing area.

The Put­nam County Sheriff’s Office tells us that some peo­ple are not able to make 911 calls due to the cut line.

Put­nam County 911 says most of the areas affected are on the west side of Put­nam County.

If you live in an area that is affected by the cut line, they say you may have to use your cell phone to call the Put­nam County Sheriff’s Office for your emer­gency. That num­ber is 419–523-3208.
