Emil Eugene Payton, age 70, of Delta, passed away Tuesday evening, August 2, 2016 at the Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon, following a lengthy illness with cancer.
Emil was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 1, 1946, the son of Porter and Emily Payton. In 2005 he married Janet Replogle, and she survives. Also surviving are his brother and sister-in-law, Carol and Don Moser of Elyeria, OH, brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Onalee Replogle of Swanton; brother-in-law, Ward Brian (Katie) Replogle of Defiance, brother-in-law, Will Replogle of Toledo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Porter and Emily Payton, and son, Michael Payton.
Funeral arrangements are pending. Grisier Funeral Home in Archbold has been entrusted with arrangements.
