Erie Algae Not As Bad

This year’s Lake Erie algal bloom is projected to be much worse than last year’s, but still not as large as two years ago. Data and computer models estimate this year’s bloom will be more like that seen in 2013. It has been given a 7.5 on the severity scale. By way of comparison, the bloom of 2015 had a severity of 10.5.
