Etch A Sketch to leave Bryan, heading to Canada

Etch A Sketch is leaving the City of Bryan, and heading north to Canada. The Ohio Art Company announcing it’s selling the iconic Etch A Sketch to Spin Master Corporation. The company says they will make a significant investment in new equipment to bolster their main business of lithography. Spin Master is a global children’s entertainment company, nominated a dozen times for Toy of the Year by the Toy Industry Association. They say they’re going to take Etch A Sketch around the world. As for locals, Ohio Art will see an uncertain number of layoffs.
