Eugene, Cole, 70

Eugene H. Cole, Sr. age 70, of Detroit, Michigan, died Sunday in his home. He was born February 09, 1943 in Perry, Michigan to the late Donald B. and Doris A. (Bell) Cole. Eugene retired from 20 years of United States Naval service, serving active duty in Vietnam from 1966-1973. He received the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and the Gallantry Cross for Vietnam Service. He was Boy Scout Scoutmaster for many years. He loved the Detroit Red Wings and actor John Wayne.

Survivors: Children, Eugene H. Cole, II, Wauseon. Mary A. Cole, North Carolina, Marianne Hoskins, Pennsylvania. Grandchildren, Alyssa Cole, Maegin Cole, Donald B. Cole, Stephanie Cole, Gregory Cole, Karen Bettencourt, Adam Bettencourt, Ashley M. Cole, Jon Baker. Great-grandchildren, Tristan W. Cassar, Emmett M. Cassar, Aiden J. Cole, Levi C. Jackson, Colton M. Cole.

Brothers, James L. Cole, David C. Cole, Duane K. Cole.

Eugene is preceded in death by his parents.
