Eunice E. (Chaney) Williams, age 92, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 12:45 A.M. on Friday, January 22, 2016, at Park View Nursing Center in Edgerton, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Williams was a cook for many years at Perry’s Towne Haus in Edgerton and also had been employed by MHE near Bryan. She was an active member of the Edgerton Senior Center for many years.
Eunice E. (Chaney) Williams was born on July 8, 1923, in Ada, Ohio, the daughter of Earl and Nellie (Spencer) Baker. She married Joseph R. Chaney on May 29, 1940, in Tiffin, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on March 3, 1978. She then married Keith B. “Barney” Williams on February 28, 1993, in Bryan, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on January 28, 1999.
Survivors include five daughters, JoAnn (Wilbur) Icenhower, of Edgerton, Linda Byers, of Bryan, Jane (Lee) Norrick, of Edon, Ohio, Debra (David) Balogh, and Jackie (Bryan) McKenzie, both of Edgerton; two sons, Donald (Diane) Chaney, of Hicksville, Ohio, and Lee Chaney, of Columbia City, Indiana; twenty grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, George Baker; one sister; Rosemary Steimetz; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016, from 2:00 – 8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton. Services will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at 11:00 A. M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton.
