Evelyn Jesse, 77 years, of Bryan, passed away Friday, November 27, 2015 at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice Facility with her family at her bedside. Evelyn was born April 9, 1938 in Elkins, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Clayton and Lillian (Rudd) Jones. Evelyn worked for Allied Moulded Products in Bryan for 25 years. She was a member of the Bryan Eagles Aerie 2233 and the Amvets Post 54.
Surviving are her three children, Robert Jenkins of Bryan, Mechelle (Daryl) Stockburger of Bowling Green, Ohio and Penny Nelson of Columbia, South Carolina; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Beulah (Lowell) Durbin of Bryan and Margaret (Richard) Ward of Jefferson City, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald Jesse and her fiancé, Maurice Judson; one sister, Mary McQuay and one brother, Ray Jones.
Visitation for Evelyn Jesse will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 from 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m. in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home-Lynn Street Chapel, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan. Funeral services for Evelyn will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in the funeral home with Rev. Becky Ploughe officiating. Interment will follow in Ney Cemetery, Ney, Ohio.
