Faith shines through…
Parishoners of St. Barbara Catholic Church in Cloverdale showed up Sunday morning with folding chairs and a borrowed instrument for an emotional first Mass following the tornado that destroyed much of the village of Cloverdale on November 17th, including their church.
The storm left several homes in Cloverdale damaged or destroyed, completely leveled the church and severely damaged its rectory.
Church leaders say it’s not the disaster that defines the church but how the church moves forward from it.
As for what lies ahead for the church, that’s still unknown. Parishoners meanwhile, vow to rebuild and move forward.
