FATAL CRASH TAKES DEFIANCE WOMAN’S LIFE

The cause of a crash that killed a Defi­ance woman is still under inves­ti­ga­tion.

The Ohio High­way Patrols says 22 year old Sarah Gomez was killed in the single-vehicle crash in Ful­ton County.

It hap­pened around 6:30 Mon­day morn­ing when Gomez appar­ently ran off Ohio 108 between Ful­ton County Roads A and B and ended up in a ditch.

Troop­ers say that Gomez was not wear­ing her seat­belt and she was thrown from the vehi­cle. Gomez was pro­nounced dead at the scene.
