The name of the victim of a fatal crash last week has been released.
The State Highway Patrol said Sunday that 27 year old Cody Douglass of Pioneer died in a crash Wednesday on U.S. 20 just east of the Indiana state line.
Douglass was pronounced dead at the scene, but police did not release his identity until after an autopsy was completed.
Police report that the Williams County Coroner confirmed that Douglass most likely died from blunt force trauma and burns. The Ohio State Highway Patrol at Defiance also reports that speed and alcohol were involved.
