Fiber optic internet cables installed by personnel dispersed around Williams County.

Fiber optic internet cables, which will provide internet access to rural communities but are also raising concerns, have been installed by personnel dispersed around Williams County for months.  The commissioners were informed Tuesday morning by Williams County Engineer Todd Roth and Engineer’s Office Project Manager Ron Buda that although the project is beneficial, some of the crews are not adhering to the regulations of the permits that Roth’s office has granted them. Roth also asked if the board would support proposals for enforcement.
