Fire near Dupont Tuesday morning causes significant damage to home.

A fire near Dupont Tuesday morning caused significant damage to a home in Perry Township. Continental and Kalida firefighters were dispatched to the residence at 24469 Road G-24, west of Road 24, just northwest of Dupont, at 8:34 a.m. Tuesday. Miller City firefighters also were called along with Putnam County EMS and Oakwood firefighters. The occupants exited the home and contacted authorities after flames were discovered.
