Firefighters rescue man who crashed his car in DeKalb County.

Firefighters had to rescue a man who crashed his car in DeKalb County by pulling him through the vehicle’s sunroof. Officials say Sheldon Shearer, 26, was heading west in the 8100 block of County Road 64 when he drove off the side of the road. The vehicle came to rest on its side in a field on the south side of the road. After being removed from the car, Shearer was taken to an area hospital. Officials believe alcohol may have played a factor in the accident.
