Flames Destroy Vacant Wauseon Home

A vacant house fire in Wauseon early this morning is being investigated as suspicious. The first calls came in around 3:30am from the property on County Road 12 in Wauseon. Crews were called out to a blaze at the same house about a week ago. That fire appears to have started in the garage. Now, following this morning’s fire, the house, which is said to be in foreclosure, is a total loss. No cause has yet been determined, but according to some sources, there have been some power surges in the area recently which have caused other electrical fires and problems.
