A vehicle flipped on I-69 after hitting a guardrail and speed limit sign and the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department believe it was a result of the driver being impaired. According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department, 24 year old Kevin J. Schuhler of Fort Wayne, was south on I-69 around 10:30 p.m. when the accident occurred. Police say Schuhler’s vehicle flipped. He was taken to a Fort Wayne hospital for a shoulder injury. The report from the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department said alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
