Fred H. Peebles, age 74, of Wauseon, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022, at the Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon. He had been an auto mechanic.
Fred was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 28, 1947, the son of Gerald and Uva (Herrick) Peebles. On December 19, 1970 he married Gloria Jean Harmon, and she preceded him in death in 2018. Fred enjoyed his tractors, mowing, pushing snow, and especially, fishing.
Surviving are two sons, Clint (Shelley) Peebles of Swanton, Fred (Julie) Peebles, Jr. of West Unity; and three grandchildren, Taylor, Gracie and Claire. He is also survived by two sisters, Margaret (Raymond) Circle of Lyons, Bobbie (Stan) Tucker of Detroit; and one brother, Gary (Bonnie) Peebles of Florida. He was preceded in death by both parents, and one son, Lynn Peebles.
Visitation and a time of sharing will be held from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon. Memorial contributions may be given to the benevolence of the family. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com.
