The Fulton County commissioners approve a bid for the reconstruction of County Road 11, between roads A and B. They awarded the project to Geddis Paving and Excavating, with a submitted bid of $1,077,887 dollars The engineer’s estimate for the project was $1.2 million. Officials say the six submitted bids were found to be accurate and complete, and the Geddis Paving and Excavating bid was deemed to be the lowest and best. The board also approved a resolution to accept 2024 rate recommendations from Northeast Water System. The matter was presented at its previous session, but the commissioners tabled the matter and requested additional information and numbers from a sanitary engineer before making a decision.
