The Williams County Airport is one of 97 airports in Ohio receiving a financial grant as part of the newly created Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act. The Federal Aviation Administration awarded $108 million to 97 airports in Ohio, in all. Williams County Airport received $30,000, the same amount as Defiance, Henry and Fulton county airports. The Federal Aviation Administration encourages airport sponsors to spend the grant funds immediately to help minimize any adverse impact from the current public health emergency.
