Gary D. Leupp, age 58, of Edgerton, Ohio, passed away at 2:15 A.M. on Friday, June 8, 2018, at Community Memorial Hospital in Hicksville, Ohio after an extended illness. Mr. Leupp was a 1978 graduate of Stryker High School and had recently been employed at Ney Oil as a fuel truck driver. He enjoyed collecting guns, gardening, hunting deer, white water rafting, hiking, mushroom hunting and riding his beloved motorcycle, “Chloe”.
Gary D. Leupp was born on February 10, 1960, in Wauseon, Ohio, the son of John Lowell and Margaret LaVern (Toland) Leupp. He married Melissa K. (Harrold) McMaken on July 4, 2009, in Edgerton and she survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are their childrenCasie (Keith) Radke, of Orland, Illinois, Alicia (Cecil) Hook, of Antwerp, Ohio, Holly (Nate) Wichman , of Defiance, Ohio, Colton (Jenna) McMaken, of Edgerton and Grant (and fiancé, Alexandra Dempler) McMaken, both of Edgerton; their grandchidlren, Trevor and Anna Radke, Aiden and Charlotte Hook, one on the way, Baby Wichman, and Eli, Bodi, Kinleigh and McKenna McMaken. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Hunter Ross Leupp.
Visitation will be held in the Krill Funeral Home, 114 East Hull Street in Edgerton on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Services will follow beginning at 1:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, with Pastor Rosene Mosley officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Stryker.
Memorials are requested to St. Mary School in Edgerton.
