Geneva L. “GG” Flower, age 75, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away at 4:41 P.M. on Friday, August 16, 2013, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan, where she was a patient. Mrs. Flower was a member of Bryan Eagles Aerie #2233, attended Grace Community Church in Bryan, and loved her weekly scratch-off tickets.
Geneva L. Flower was born on June 22, 1938, in Van Wert County, Ohio, the daughter of George and Luella (Roose) Speelman. She married Donald Flower on July 18, 1959, and he preceded her in death in November of 1996.
Surviving are one daughter, Doreen (Randy) Chapman, of Bryan; three sons, Donald (Nikki) Flower, Jr., Dennis (René) Flower, and Dino (Sonia) Flower, all of Edgerton; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Diana (Mike) Monroe, of Hicksville, Ohio, and Dorothy (Gary) Beck, of Bryan; and one brother, Leroy (Sue) Speelman, in Tennessee. She was also preceded in death by five brothers, George Isaac, John, Cary Dean, Carl and Dana Speelman, and one sister, Kay Francis Speelman.
Services will be private with interment in Brown Cemetery, Bryan, Ohio.
