George D. Blaisdell, 63

George D. Blaisdell, age 63, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 11:05 A.M. on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at Fountain Park Inn and Villas in Bryan, where he was a resident after an extended illness. Mr. Blaisdell was a 1972 graduate of Bryan High School and was employed by The Aro Corporation in maintenance and welding, retiring with twenty-nine years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and watching his grandchildren in their sporting events.

George D. Blaisdell was born on February 12, 1953, in Bryan, the son of Kay F. and Doris (Mack) Blaisdell.

Survivors include one son, Shawn (Shawn) Blaisdell, of West Unity, Ohio; one daughter, Season (Randy) Sanders, of Bryan; two grandchildren, Cayden and Jack Blaisdell; four sisters, Barbara (Frank) Hosler and Beverly (Bill) Glore, both of Bryan, Karen (Ed) Mowry, of Aurora, Colorado, and Patricia Loomis; three brothers, Robert Blaisdell and Kenneth Blaisdell, both of Bryan, and Michael Blaisdell, of Willard, Ohio; one brother-in-law, Harry Keller, of Bryan; and one sister-in-law, Gwen Blaisdell, of Bryan. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Marilyn Keller; and one brother, James L. Blaisdell.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, from 3:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will be held in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at 1:30 P.M. with Pastor Larry Snavely officiating. Interment will follow in Shiffler Cemetery, near Bryan.
