George K. “Kent” Hodge, age 74, of Montpelier, Ohio, died at 7:40 A.M. on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers- Montpelier. Kent was a salesman. He enjoyed camping, golf and rescuing any dogs in need.
George K. “Kent” Hodge was born on August 30, 1944, in Ripon, California, the son of George F. and Frances M. (Charotte) Hodge. Kent was a 1962 graduate of James Marshall High School in West Sacramento, California. He married Nancy A. Schneider on July 8, 1967 in West Jefferson, North Carolina and she survives.
In addition to his wife, Kent is survived by his sons, Greg (Kelly) Hodge and Wes (Renee) Hodge, both of Toledo; a brother, Phil (Sherrie) Hodge, of Sacramento, California; nephew, Burke and nieces Michelle and Carrie. He was preceded in death by his father, George (Mary) Hodge; mother Frances (George) Bratton and a sister, Kathy Keister.
In accordance with Kent’s wishes, there will be no visitation and services will be held at a later date. Krill Funeral at 860 West Mulberry Street in Bryan, Ohio has been entrusted with his arrangements.
Memorials in the name of George K. “Kent” Hodge may be given to Williams County Humane Society.
