Gerry Mulligan, 86

Geraldine M. “Gerry” Mulligan, age 86, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 5:58 P.M. on Monday, October 28, 2013, at Hillside Country Living near Bryan, where she was a resident. Gerry was a graduate of St. Louis Beason grade school in New Haven, Indiana, and Central Catholic High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bryan, the Shamrock Circle and Christopher’s Circle at St. Patrick. Gerry worked at Ohio Art Company for 32 years as a tow motor operator, retiring in 1990, and served as president of Local #701.

Born on February 8, 1927, in Monroeville, Indiana, she was the daughter of Frank and Genevieve (Gladieux) Kennerk. She married John C. Mulligan on November 24, 1949, in Monroeville and he preceded her in death on December 29, 1981.

Surviving are her daughter, Colleen “Connie” (Dean) Cogswell, of Montpelier, Ohio; three sons, John C. (Patricia) Mulligan, of Bryan, Edward R. (Beverly) Mulligan, of Beloit, Wisconsin, and Patrick J. (Sue Hahn) Mulligan, of Bryan; twelve grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; thirteen step-great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, LuAnn Kennerk, of New Haven, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, David L. Mulligan, two brothers, Robert Kennerk and Donald Kennerk, and a sister-in-law, Margie Kennerk.

Visitation for Geraldine M. “Gerry” Mulligan will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2013, from 2:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, followed by recitation of the rosary at 8:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Services will be held on Friday, November 1, 2013, at 10:30 A.M. at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father James Halleron officiating. Interment will take place at 2:30 P.M. in St. Louis Beason Cemetery, New Haven, Indiana.

Memorials in the name of Geraldine M. Mulligan may be given to the St. Patrick Catholic Church.
