Premier Financial reports a second-quarter net income of $29.1 million dollars. The Defiance based bank says it had earnings of 78 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for costs related to mergers and acquisitions, came to 82 cents per. The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts, surveyed by Zacks Investment Research, was for earnings of 39 cents per share.
