Grants given to local groups fighting human trafficking

Two Ohio groups have pro­vided grants to fight human traf­fick­ing. Nine orga­ni­za­tions will get their share of $90,000. Children’s Lantern serves Defi­ance, Henry, Pauld­ing, Ful­ton, Put­nam and Williams coun­ties. And Sis­ters in Shel­ter reaches 14 coun­ties includ­ing those. The grants are to help iden­tify and help at-risk youth pop­u­la­tions and give them resources to pre­vent them becom­ing vic­tims of human trafficking.
