Harold J. Busha, age 69, of rural Fremont, Indiana, died at 9:10 A.M. on Thursday, January 7, 2016, at Northern Lakes Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Angola, Indiana, after a brief illness. Mr. Busha was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam with the rank of Sargent. He was a lifelong farmer and spent many years as a groundskeeper at Tri-State Golf Course in Angola.
Harold J. Busha was born on October 25, 1946, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, the son of Richard James and Mary Rita (Spack) Busha. He married Joann F. Kopitzki on June 6, 1987, in Harrison Township, Michigan, and she preceded him in death on June 18, 2011.
Mr. Busha is survived by one son, Alexander A. Busha, of Fremont.
The family will receive visitors in the Krill Funeral Home, 204 West Indiana Street, Edon, Ohio, from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 16, 2016. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 16, with Pastor David LaDuke officiating. Military honors will be rendered by the United States Army Honor Guard.
