Harold L. Jaggers, age 90, of Edon, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at Bryan Care & Rehabilitation Center. Harold worked for 24 years at Hayes-Albion and retired from Metal Forge. He was a US Army veteran who served during the Korean War. Harold was a n advisor with the Northwest Apache 4-H club for many years. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and had a large vegetable garden for many years.
Harold L. Jaggers was born on May 15, 1932 in Springfield, Ohio, the son of Paul W. and Ethel P. (McNeal) Jaggers. He married Barbara A Watts on March 12, 1956 in Angola, Indiana and she survives.
Harold is also survived by his children, Charles (Starla) Jaggers, of Edon, Sandy Rummel, of Bryan, Jesse Jaggers, of Seattle, Washington, Tammy (Kenneth) Warner, of Fremont, Indiana and Carl Jaggers, of Edon; 11 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren; a great-great granddaughter and a sister, Pam (Jim) Bigler, of Fayetteville, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Frank, Richard and Roger, Jaggers and a granddaughter, Alicia.
Visitation for Harold will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 204 West Indiana Street, Edon. Funeral services will be held immediately following at 1:00 P.M. with Deacon Jean Wise officiating. Burial with graveside military rites with the Edon American Legion and US Army Honor Guard will follow at Columbia Cemetery.
