Helen L. Rosendaul, age 97, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 8:15 A.M. on Sunday, August 25, 2013, at Evergreen Manor Nursing Home in Montpelier, Ohio, where she had been a resident. Mrs. Rosendaul was a member of the Bryan First Church of Christ. She held the position of National President of the Mothers of World War II in 1991-1992. Helen has worked in several locations, as a cook at the Jam Jar, Orchard Hills Country Club and Bryan Hospital; she baked wedding cakes and sold Tupperware; had worked at Spangler Candy Company and Allied Moulded; was the manager at the Mode O’ Day Dress shop in Bryan and worked at Night & Day until she was 75 years old.
Helen L. Rosendaul was born July 13, 1916, in Montpelier, Indiana, the daughter of James and Anna (Frazier) Glover. She married Ray W. Rosendaul on September 5, 1931, in Auburn, Indiana, and he preceded her in death.
Helen is survived by her children, Jim (Carol) Rosendaul, of Louisville, Kentucky, Madelon (Charles) Salisbury, Stewart (Sally) Rosendaul, Rex (Nancy) Rosendaul, Patti (Marion “Ed”) Dohm and Chris (Marcy) Rosendaul, all of Bryan; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren and two step-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant son, David Rosendaul, and her brothers, Rex, George and Jim Glover.
A Memorial Service for Helen L. Rosendaul will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, prior to the service. Burial at Shiffler Cemetery will follow the service.
Memorials in the name of Helen L. Rosendaul may be given to the Bryan First Church of Christ.
