Helena Northrup, age 61 of Bryan, Ohio passed away November 16, 2022 at Evergreen Healthcare Center in Montpelier, Ohio following a courageous battle with cancer. She had a strong faith that she maintained throughout her life. Helena walks with God now. She was a member of Bridging the Gap Church in Stryker.
Helena was born on September 13, 1961 in Findlay, Ohio, the daughter of Kenneth W. and Shirley A. (Cole) Fackler, Sr. She was a graduate of Defiance High School. She married Rick Northrup, they have been together for 25 years, and he survives.
Helena is also survived by her children, Cindy, Kyle and Jared; grandchildren, Talan, Miley, Presley, Chloe, Madoc and Ivan; mother, Shirley Beiswenger; stepmother, Polly Fackler; siblings, Dixie, Lee, Jay, Richard and Lynn. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Fackler, Sr.; stepfathers William Beiswenger and Richard McCoy; brothers, Mike Hall and Ken Fackler, Jr. and her grandmother, Lena Cole.
A memorial service celebrating Helena’s life will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Bridging the Gap Church, 110 South Defiance Street, Stryker, Ohio 43557.
