Hellen M. Harding, 77

Hellen M. Harding, 77, of Camden, Michigan passed away Friday afternoon at Evergreen Manor Nursing Home in Montpelier. She was born on October 7, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan to John Vincent and Pearl Marie (Lambert) Carl, Sr. Hellen graduated from Pittsford High School in Pittsford, Michigan. On October 28, 1962, she married William E. Harding and he survives.
For most of Hellen’s life she was a stay at home mom raising five boys and helping her husband on the family dairy farm. At one time, she was a home health aide. Hellen loved to travel and had a great love for her grandchildren. She was a very caring and compassionate person.

Hellen is survived by her husband of 54 years, William; five sons, William V. (Debra) Harding of Hamilton, Indiana, Steve (Cherrie) Harding of Jonesville, Michigan, Ron (Dana) Harding of Ceresco, Michigan, Terry (Lisa) Harding of Camden, Michigan, and Matthew L. Harding (Victor P. Ventura) of San Diego, California; 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren; one brother Roy (Joyce) Carl of Hudson, Michigan; and one sister Florence (Victor) Harding of Hillsdale, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Maybel Baker, three brothers John, Charles and Tom Carl, and one great grandchild.

Visitation for Hellen will be on Monday, February 6th from 5-8pm at the Thompson Funeral Home on Main Street in Montpelier. Services will be on Tuesday at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Terry Baldwin to officiate. Interment will follow at Baker Cemetery on Territorial Road in Amboy Township, Michigan. Memorial contributions may be given to Silver Creek Church of the Brethren or to the family.
