A Hicksville man has been found guilty by a Defiance County jury of 10 child sexual abuse charges.
The jury decided that 42 year old Jerry Stairhime was guilty of six counts of rape; three counts of gross sexual imposition; and one count of sexual imposition.
Sentencing is set for 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in common pleas court. Stairhime’s $1 million bond was revoked with the guilty verdict. He is being held in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.
The maximum prison term for the charges is 75 years. The charges come from sexual contact and conduct with four female juveniles who are all adults now, from late 1996 until some time in 2006.
