One person is hurt in a head on collision at the intersection of State Road 1 and County Road 64 in DeKalb County, halfway between Spencerville and St. Joe. Stephen Witte was traveling south on 1 when he encountered traffic that had slowed because of another vehicle turning left. Witte was unable to stop in time and crossed the center line to avoid hitting the cars in front of him. He hit another vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle went to the hospital with cuts to the head and chest. The investigation into the crash continues.
