Injury Crash Seriously Injures Two

Three juveniles are hurt in a crash three miles south of Ridgeville Corners. Officials told reporters a 16-year-old Defiance girl was driving south on Adams Ridge Road, south of Allen Road, with two other girls as passengers. The vehicle veered off the right side of the road. The driver overcorrected, smashing into a telephone box and overturning before coming to rest in a wheat field. The driver and one passenger were flown to St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. The other passenger was treated and released. State and local investigators are on the case.
