The chicken pie supper tradition continues at First Christian Church in Wauseon.
This year, organizers say a generous homemade meal will be served to nearly 1,000 people.
It takes place Wednesday in church fellowship hall from 5–7 p.m. or until sold out. The menu includes homemade chicken pie and gravy, real mashed potatoes, cole slaw, cranberry salad and assorted dessert pies.
Drive-thru carry-out is available from 4:30 p.m. to about 6 p.m. tomorrow in the church parking lot at 129 E. Elm St., across from the post office.
A bake sale in the church hallway is also a part of the annual event. It runs from 4:30–7 p.m. tomorrow.
