James “Jim” Wroblewski Sr., 77 years, of Hicksville, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020 in his home. Jim was born April 12, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late Harry J. and Pauline (Farris) Wroblewski. On August 15, 1997, he was united in marriage to Nellie Loucks and she preceded him in death on May 15, 2009. Jim worked at Dutch Made in Grabill, Indiana as a cabinet builder. He enjoyed woodworking, working on engines, and collecting antiques. He had a love for all animals, especially dogs.
Jim is survived by sons, Michael, James (Tabitha) Jr., Tony (Laura) Cassidy, Tom (Sonya), Tim (Fayette), Pete (Sarah); Daughter-in-law, Christy Wroblewski; 28 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; a sister, Liz; and a brother, Bob. He was preceded in death by a son; Alan Wroblewski; three great grandchildren; and three beloved dogs.
There will be no services for Jim at this time. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, Hicksville Chapel.
