James R. Lung, Jr., 59

James R. Lung, Jr., age 59, of Butler, Indiana, passed away at 12:29 P.M. on Saturday, October 28, 2017, shortly after admittance to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Mr. Lung had formerly been employed by Air-Way Manufacturing in Butler and later enjoyed driving for the Children First Center in Auburn, Indiana. As an avid sports fan, Jim loved his Indianapolis Colts and thoroughly enjoyed being at the stadium for baseball games with family and friends. He was also a fan of the Beatles and was known as a man who had a big heart, who loved his family and who was a good friend who would do anything for anybody in a time of need and always ended his conversations with an “I Love You.”

James R. Lung was born on July 14, 1958, in Garrett, Indiana, the son of James R. and Carol Ann (Hollinger) Lung. He married Pamela Sue Henderson on November 26, 1986, in Bryan, Ohio, and she survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Brianne (Tony) Baden, of Archbold, Ohio, and Misty Dawn (Robert) Rathburn, of Sherwood, Ohio; four grandchildren, Bronson Anthony, Taelor Ann and Corbin James Baden and Brayden Ray McCloskey; one brother, Robert “Mick” Lung, of Butler; and one sister, Denise Hankey, of Butler, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Brennen Jay Lung; one brother, Brian Jay Lung; and two grandchildren, Adrian and Kaydance.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 114 East Hull Street, Edgerton, Ohio. Services will follow at 1:30 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, with Pastor Tom Graves officiating. Interment will be in Butler Cemetery.
