Jan L. Chrisman, age 71, of Edon, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Park View Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, after a courageous battle with an extended illness. Mrs. Chrisman was 1968 graduate of Edon High School and had been employed for many years as a retail manager by Slattery Oil in Edon. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Edon and was a founding member of Theta Kappa-Psi Iota Xi sorority in Edon. She enjoyed reading mysteries, watching the food network and attending her grandsons’ ballgames. She especially loved spending time with her grandkids and her family.
Jan Chrisman was born on December 21, 1950, in Angola, Indiana, the daughter of Ronald E. and Beverly J. (Randolph) Kundard. She married Gary W. Chrisman on February 7, 1975, in Stryker, Ohio, and he survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband are one son, Cody (Britni) Chrisman, of Blakeslee, Ohio; two grandchildren, Corbin and Jaxson Chrisman; and one sister, Marcia (Lee) Thiel, of Edgerton, Ohio; one niece, Jennifer (Bill) Stamper, of Findlay, Ohio; and a great-niece, Amelia Stamper. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Lynn Kundard.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, from 3:00-7:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 204 West Indiana Street, Edon. Services conducted by Theta Kappa-Psi Iota Xi sorority will follow at 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edon, with Deacon Jean Wise officiating. Interment will follow in Edon Cemetery.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the family will receive friends while observing social distancing precautions. The family encourages the use of masks.
