Jane N. Anderson, 90

Jane N. Anderson, age 90, of Stryker, Ohio passed away Friday night, September 28, 2018 at Hillside Country Living, rural Bryan, Ohio. She was born October 05, 1927 in East Chicago, Indiana to the late William and Jennie (Brooke) Fetters. She married Raymond Roger “Andy” Anderson on June 09, 1951 and he preceded her in death on January 15, 2001. Jane was a elementary school teacher at Stryker Local Schools for 22 years and also taught in the Paulding and Kunkle schools. She was a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan College. Jane was very active with the Stryker Library, Friends of the Stryker Library, Red Hats, Williams County Humane Society, Williams County Genealogy Society, Stryker Area Heritage Council, and also volunteered at Sauder Village. Her hobbies included, sewing, knitting, bus tour traveling, trips to Florida, and also had a passion for volunteering.

Survivors include her children, Rex (Patty) Anderson, Richmond, Ky. Jack (Deb) Anderson, Sylvania, Ohio. Susie (Nick) Wlasiuk, Stryker, Ohio. Karen (Denny) Wlasiuk, St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Grandchildren, Brian, Benjamin, Nikki, Ryan, Sara, Kristina, Jennie. Six great-grandchildren and a great-grandchild expected soon. Sister-in-law, Clara June Fetters.

Jane is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother, William Fetters.

Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 03, 2018 in Grisier Funeral Home, Stryker, Ohio. Pastor Nick Woodall will officiate. Interment will follow in Sherwood Cemetery, Sherwood, Ohio. Friends may call for a time of visitation with the family 2:00-5:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
