Janie L. Williams, 48 years, of Montpelier, Ohio passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016 as a result of an automobile accident. Janie was born October 21, 1967 in East Liverpool, Ohio, the daughter of Larry Eugene Snyder and Carolyn Ruth Plumm. She previously worked as a cleaner at Metaldyne. Janie attended Living Hope Free Methodist Church, West Unity. In her free time, Janie enjoyed searching for treasures at garage sales. She also enjoyed fishing and spending time with her dog, Missy.
Surviving are her four children, Tracy Schmucker of Madisonville, Tennessee, Nicole (Chris) Simpson of Madisonville, Tennessee, Josh Van Egeren of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Lisa (Adam) Dowell of Sweetwater, Tennessee; one step-daughter, Daniell (Robert) Sheely of Osseo, Michigan; ten grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; mother, Carolyn Fisher of West Unity, Ohio; father, Larry Snyder of Hopewell, Virginia; companion, Tim Wolff of Montpelier, Ohio; three sisters, Tresae (Robin) Athy Sr. of West Unity, Ohio, Lois (Mark) Munson of Nashville, Tennessee, and Sarah (Robert) Welling of East Liverpool, Ohio; six brothers, Gene Fisher of Alvordton, Ohio, Ron (Christina) Snyder of Sarasota, Florida, Jeff Fisher of Wellsville, Ohio, Bill (Loretta) Fisher of Chester, West Virginia, Fred Fisher of New Cumberland, West Virginia, and Jack (Becky) Fisher of Weirton, West Virginia. Janie was preceded in death by her step-father, Gene Fisher.
Visitation for Janie L. Williams will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Living Hope Free Methodist Church, 603 West Jackson Street, West Unity, where funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., August 9, 2016 with Pastor Dave Mathis officiating.
