Jean Roose, age 77, of Montpelier, Ohio, died on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at her home. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, playing cards and visiting casinos.
Jean was born on October 3, 1939, in Ezel, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Adolf and Beatrice (Bartley) Kraemer. She married Tracy L. Roose on August 2, 1964 in Jonesville, Michigan and he preceded her in death on May 30, 2010.
Jean is survived by her children, Troy Roose, of Elkhart, Indiana, Tracy Stipe, of Bryan and Terri (Kyle) Gearhart, of Montpelier; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Tom (Sandy) Kraemer and Scott Kraemer, both of Bryan; sisters, Barbara (Harold) Bartley, of Dayton and Nancy Kraemer, of Bryan and her mother-in-law, Margaret Bradley, of Bryan. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a son, Mark Roose in 2014.
Services will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at 6:00 P.M. at Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan with Barb Roose officiating. Visitation will be held for two hours prior to the service, beginning at 4:00 P.M.
