Jerry Lee Lauber, 80

Jerry Lee Lauber, age 80, of Wauseon passed away November 11, 2015 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He owned Lauber Studio for many years and later became owner of Lauber Construction. He enjoyed drawing, painting, carving and woodworking, his lake life at Barton Lake, Indiana and his coffee shop crew. Jerry was a US Army veteran.

Jerry was born on January 1, 1935 in Wauseon, Ohio the son of the late Harold and the late Dorothy (Zimmerman) Lauber. On April 7, 1956 he married the former Geraldine Lockman and she preceded him in death on October 26 of this year.

Surviving is Mark E. Lauber (Andrea-wife) Brecksville, OH, daughter: Christina M. Hoover, (Bruce-husband) Delaware, OH, grandchildren : Nathan Hoover & Marcus Lauber and brother; Gene Lauber (Joan) of Texas, and sister; Barbara Essinger (deceased husband-Ronald).Preceding him in death besides his wife and parents were brothers; Clinton Lauber and Harold D. Lauber (Antoinette-wife living) and sister; Dortha Ann Stevinson.

A memorial will be held at later date to be announced by his children for both Jerry and Geraldine. Arrangements have entrusted to Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home, Wauseon, Ohio.
