Jerry A. Turney, age 65, of Cincinnati and formerly of Wauseon passed away unexpectedly Thursday August 28, 2014. Mr. Turney was employed by West Chester Hospital, West Chester, Ohio.
Mr. Turney was born on February 13, 1949 in Toledo to the late C. Lewis and the late Florence (Cammarn) Turney Martz. On June 18, 1982 he married the former Judy Hasselschwert and she survives. He was a member of St. Caspar Catholic Church in Wauseon. He was also a US Army veteran.
Surviving besides his wife Judy, is daughter Colene Fogelson (Erik) of West Chester, Ohio, son Kirby Turney, (Taren Arakaki) Columbus, Ohio, grandchildren Seth Fogelson and Reagan Fogelson and sister, Judy (Don) Williams of Wauseon. Preceded in death was infant daughter, Tracy Kay Turney, and step son, Michael L. Hallett.
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30am Wednesday September 3, 2014 at the St. Caspar Catholic Church. Friends may call in the Pope John XXIII Room of the St. Caspar Church on Tuesday from 3:00-8:00pm. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.GrisierFH.com.
