Jim Corwin Burkholder

James “Jim” Corwin Burkholder passed away in the late morning hours of Tuesday October 6th, after a lengthy illness.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Jayne (Beckman) Burkholder, sons Jeff and Dave (Mary) Gill; sisters Joan (Jim) Nofzinger, Corinne (Jim) Wright, Jane (Toad, deceased) Milliman and Marlene Heltzer; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces,nephews, cousins and beloved dogs Emmy and Chloe. Jim is preceded in death by his parents Corwin and Wilma Burkholder.

Jim was an avid story teller. He loved to make people laugh, especially his wife. Jim enjoyed fishing, raising rabbits, farming and relaxing on his swing with Emmy people watching.

Jim was a retired Auxiliary Policeman active 13 years for the Wauseon Police Department and was a carpenter by trade.

A “Celebration of Life” memorial service will be held at the Church of the Master United Methodist Church in Wauseon at 2:00 pm on October 24, 2015. Donations may be made in Jim’s memory to the Church of the Master United Methodist Church.
