Joann Snider, age 85, of Bryan, passed away Friday morning, March 16, 2018 at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers-Bryan. She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family.
Joann was born on May 9, 1932, in Fairmont, West Virginia, the daughter of Charles and Mary (Jackson) Layne. She married William F. Snider on July 25, 1952, and he survives.
Joann is also survived by her children, Ron (Connie) Snider, of Bryan, Sandra Snider, of Montpelier, Mike Snider, of Bryan, Danny (Joyce) Snider, of Bryan and Greg (Stephanie) Snider, of Fort Wayne; twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and sisters, Doris Kubiet, Carol Elliott and Judy Alkire, all of West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents and ten brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, from 3:00-6:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 in the funeral home with Pastor Jeanette Fischer officiating. Burial will follow in Shiffler Cemetery.
