Job and Family Services to build new group home in downtown Fremont

Job and Family Services will shortly build a new group home in downtown Fremont, in Sandusky County. A facility on Birchard Avenue that will serve high-needs adolescents in county care is undergoing renovations. The building will be Sandusky County’s first publicly operated group home when it opens. According to officials, it will return four to seven children with special needs to their homes and addresses a vital need in the county.
