And the good numbers keep rolling in. Williams County hit the 2.5 percent jobless mark for April, after falling to a near-county record of 3.2 percent in March. It places Williams County among the top 10 in the state for lowest unemployment rate and continues to put it well under state and national numbers. The rate bypassed lows seen during the late 1990s and early 2000s, becoming easily the lowest mark for the county in the past three decades.
