Jones In Court

Counsel for a Napoleon man, charged with rape of a minor under age 13, files an oral motion in court, to withdraw his client’s guilty plea. Anthony Jones appeared in a Henry County courtroom for sentencing. Jones is seeking to plead not guilty by reason of insanity. Following evaluations, he was deemed competent to stand trial, and not eligible for an insanity defense. Jones is currently held at the Corrections Center, in Stryker.
